ApexRadio IT5050 galvanic Isolation Transformer
The IT5050 is an isolation transformer that can significantly reduce locally-produced
noise by breaking up the common mode noise path (the ground loop effect
between antenna and receiver). It's fitted with BNC connectors. IT5050
has excellent wide band characteristics and can be used from LW to VHF.
Typical noise soursces are switching power supplies such as those used
for receivers and PCs. IT5050 will break the ground loop and isolation
filter the noise out of the signal before it reaches the antenna input
of receivers. Protect the receiver from electrostatic discharges from the
antenna by using IT5050.

*The noise reduction effect will depending on the reception environment and usage conditions.
*IT5050 has excellent wideband characteristics, but there is a small signal attenuation. In environments where no noise improvement effect is observed, better results may be obtained by not inserting this product.
*Noise induced by the antenna (not related to ground loops) will not be attenuated.
* The circuitry is not able to transfer transmitter power. The IT5050 is designed for receiving purposes only.
